Understanding Words?

Whats This Word??!?
Students started off the day by getting a sheet of paper containing a passage on it. Mr Hanlon then went on about what people when they read difficult words that they don't understand and what you should/could do. Students were then asked to do 1-5 and to circle the letter of the correct option in their opinion. they then did 6-10 without the options provided.

Story Time
Students then got out their Song Of Rolan book and Mr Hanlon continued to read the story aloud.Students then copied down the notes Hanlon wrote down on the bored.

Students then got out their Similie hand out and then the class went over it together.  They then were asked to complete a few of the questions Mr Hanlon gave to them.


Homework;  - Read over notes
                      - Make sure you understand everything that is happening
                      - Be sure that all classwork is up to date and ready for next class
