As if that's an Irregular Verb


Irregular Verbs
Students started off the day by getting out their Irregular Verbs worksheet and turned to the Adverb section doing questions #1-5, they then went over it together and marked it.

As If
Students then got out their "As If" worksheets and flipped to the back of it. Mr Hanlon got his students to read out the poems. Mr Hanlon then wrote notes on the first poem on the board and got his students to copy them down on their sheets. Mr Hanlon then got distracted and told them how to note Rhyme Scheme and where and what to write. They then decided what the rhyme scheme was for the first poem and what its metrical pattern was. They also made notations. They then discussed and marked which line the shift occurred on and why. They then Moved onto the next poem. They figured out its overall structure, the assonance, consonance use, and the shift.

Essay!!
Students were then handed out a Essay Outline Worksheet. They were then asked to figure out what three points and their thesis they were going to use and to write them down.

Homework: Make sure all classwork is up to date and ready for next class
