He then handed the students a worksheet about A.C.E.S and the students were asked to fill in the answers. He also got the students to write the notes down about how to use hyphens correctly that he put on the projector.
After that, Mr Hanlon wrote a paragraph and got his students to copy it down in their books. The purpose of this was to show his students what a good paragraph should look like. The students were then asked to highlight transition words from the paragraph he wrote.
The students were then given 'The Tyger' poem by William Blake and were asked to read it. They then discussed as to what they thought of the story and what it was really about.
